Sub-Activity 2.1. Undergraduate Lab equipment to enhance the quality of Experimentation

Sub-Activity 2.1: Enhance understanding science by stimulating concrete perceiving and active processing through providing more opportunity for experimentation.

In order to enhance the quality of undergraduate laboratory sessions by increasing the laboratory resources (instruments / equipment by new purchase and repairs of faulty equipment) by giving opportunity for individual as well as group lab work where necessary, undergraduate laboratory equipment were purchased for Rs. 5.73 Mn. The certifications given below outline the contribution of the lab equipment purchased for undergraduate labs in the Departments of Botany, Chemistry, Zoology and Physics for the B.Sc. (General) Study Program.
