Workshop on Attitude Building (TOR/O-06)-5th July 2014
Workshop on Attitude Building (TOR-O/06)
True transformation in attitude is triggered by realization of reality (nature), and then emanating subsequent practices mould the individual. Hence, based on this philosophy and objectivity, we initiate our efforts through this first workshop to sensitize our academics on the objectivity, linking modern science with traditional knowledge of spirituality.
A Perspective of Materialistic Science & Perennial Philosophy
5th July 2014
|
Material Science portrays human beings as highly developed animals and thinking biological machines who have a fleeting and insignificant role in the overall scheme of things. Western science offers psychological and psychopharmacological assistance to those individuals who have difficulties in adjusting to the miserable predicament of human life.
Perennial philosophy sees humans as essentially commensurate with the entire universe and ultimately divine - offers a rich spectrum of spiritual techniques through which it is possible to recognize and experience one's own divinity and achieve liberation from suffering.
“You are essentially who you create yourself to be and all that occurs in your life is the result of your own making.” ― Stephen Richards
