Quality and Innovation Grant (Window 2, Round 1), HETC - B.Sc.(General), EUSL

QIG is a competitive grant of Rs. 25 million to enhance quality and relevance of B.Sc.(General) degree program; a project undertaken by Ministry of Higher Education, under the Higher Education for the Twenty-first Century (HETC) program. The Comprehensive Proposal ranked 1st, among competing study programs in North-East universities and ranked 4th among the 20 undergraduate study programs qualified for the grant out of more than 80 competing study programs from all universities in Sri Lanka.

Science Beyond Materialism

Before Quantum Physics originated a century ago, the view point of materialism and idealism dominated. i.e. the concept “Every thing originate from matter and reality is independent of observation”.
But, Quantum Physics has revealed that our conscious observation influence reality !
