Blood Donation Programme Organised by Students (TOR-O/11_b)

TOR-O/11_b: Blood Donation Programme at Eastern University, Sri Lanka, Chenkalady main campus premises.

The Students' Union of Faculty of Science, Eastern University, Sri Lanka organised a Blood Donation Camp at the Nallaiah Auditorim in the main campus, Chenkalady on 28th October 2014 from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. There had been a huge responds from students and staff over 200 persons donating blood. The even was facilitated and funded by Quality and Innovation Grant for B.Sc.(General) Study Programme of HETC project.

Science Beyond Materialism

• Before Quantum Physics originated a century ago, the view point of materialism and idealism dominated. i.e. the concept “Every thing originate from matter and reality is independent of observation”.
